Welcome to the UNODC committee in the Sunhills Valley Model of United Nations 10th anniversary! As your moderator Mariana Noguez Dittmer and your president María José Arias Gamboa, we are so excited to have you here and ca not wait to see all the energy and ideas you will bring to this committee. 

We have put a lot of effort into preparing this topic and building a space where you can completely embrace the opportunity to learn, to lead, and to make a difference. The global drug trade is a complex and urgent issue that affects millions of lives across the world, and your role as a delegate is essential to tackling it from a global perspective. 

We trust that you will bring both passion and insight to the discussions. We encourage you to approach each session with curiosity, creativity, and to have an open mind.
